The GBC SureBind System 3 Pro Strip Binder is perfect for large offices that require a very high volume of securely bound, tamper-proof documents. Able to bind the largest of documents up to 750 sheets it is fully electronic and will punch up to 26 sheets of 80 gsm paper at the push of a button. The documents are bound by welding two strips together to create a permanent spine. A jam-prevention device comes as standard and a De-Bind tool is included, along with an Optional Document Bind Counter to monitor throughput.
Binding is incredibly easy - punch your document with your choice of the push button, punch-sensor or foot pedal and once the SureBind spine is pushed through the page holes, the document is welded securely in place. The pressure bar will lift up and returns to indicate when the binding is complete. For A4 documents the binding cycle is between 10-18 seconds but for smaller documents you can increase the speed to 8 seconds or less.
The SureBind System 3 features an adjustable edge guide which allows for easy alignment of the paper and a storage compartment to keep your supplies close to hand. The size guide quickly determines the appropriate strip size for your binding and the machine also features punch and bind buttons, a ready light and a bin full light.
Page changing is possibly once the document has been bound using the de-bind tool and the 10-prong format allows you to securely re-bind any 21 hole documents that were originally bound using a GBC CombBind machine. This is an incredibly useful feature as it means that you can create a draft document with your CombBind machine and then securely finish the final version with your SureBind System 3.
