IDEAL 5560 LT Power Guillotine with Hydraulic Blade and Clamp & Air Table

The Ideal 5560 LT with Air Table is a fully programmable Guillotine with hydraulic blade and clamp drive which can be raised or lowered independently from the cutting system, plus the added advantage of a fully programmable ‘’EP’’ Control Module for the power back-gauge which features include an accurate self diagnostic Digital Measurement Display with a 10-button key pad for pre-setting of measurement, a repeat cut memory key, 99 programs steps in each program, a Start Button for setting up ‘’Set’’ functions, and a programmable eject function for pushing out the cut paper. It is equipped with the new, patented EASY-CUT blade activating bars for convenient and safe cutting. The Infra Red Safety Curtain is perfectly suited to trimming Digital Print Jobs up to 520mm wide.

The 5560 Guillotine features ”SCS“, which is a ‘’CE’’ compliant, Safety Cutting System made by IDEAL that provides numerous safety features including safety drive, automatic blade and clamp return from every position, blade changing device with covered cutting edge, blade depth adjustment from the outside of the machine, easy blade and cutting stick change from the front of the machine without removing covers. Foot pedal for pre-clamping or as mechanical cutting line indicator. Optical cutting line with bright and durable LEDs. Electric backgauge drive with touch pad for easy setting, multilingual operator guidance and digital display. Measurement readout in cm or inches (display accurate to 1/10 mm or 1/100 inch). 99 programs with 99 steps in each program (up to 15 repeat cuts can be integrated into a program as one single program step). Programs run automatically with 10-button key pad for presetting of measurements. There is an integrated calculator, pre-programmed measurements for standard paper sizes and programmable keys for quick setting of frequently needed measurements. The memory key can offer repeat cuts. Electronic hand wheel for manual backgauge positioning with infinitely variable speed control (from very slow to very fast).

Other features include an Optical Cutting Line with bright, durable LEDs which shows where the cut will be performed and helps to align cutting marks precisely for accurate cuts, an electronic hand wheel for manual back-gauge positioning with infinitely variable speed control from very slow to very fast, a blade depth adjustment and the cutting stick turning or replacement from the outside of the machine, and a foot pedal which can be used for pre-clamping when trimming bound brochures or as a mechanical cutting line indicator.
