The IDEAL 1046 is a 460mm Office Guillotine built to a high specification and using high quality Solingen steel blades that can cut up to 30 sheets, and features which ensure long life and trouble-free operation. It includes an EASY LIFT automatic clamp to hold paper in position during cutting, handling up to A3 format sheets. The blade itself is housed inside an unbreakable plastic covering which is transparent. Precision side lay and accurate back gauge measurement mean that paper is trimmed where it is needed.
Features of the 1046 include the use of Solingen quality steel cutting blades which are housed on double pivot aluminium bearings on the blade bracket which are replaceable and re-sharpenable. The blade housing is transparent and the base has full paper format indication with a millimetre accurate measuring scale
Typical applications include the hand finishing of print, the trimming of multi copy cards and labels, display prints, posters, the removing of trim from copier print, sample creation, the removing register or other marks, and the finishing of digital print output
