The 4100 with black full steel casing for extra security allows for safe storage of banknotes at POS (point of sale), where banknotes are stored neatly and jam-free. It can be mounted under the cash desk and fits up to 300 banknotes as required. The double bearded key security facilitates easy removal of storage compartment from the POS counter. A separate key also exists for opening the banknote storage compartment.

The Safescan 4100 POS safe is supplied with mounting kit, 2 keys to unlock the cassette, 2 keys to open and close the safe, and full multilingual operating instructions.
